Abstract
In the geodetic literature, absolute determination of the position of a single point by using GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) is called Precise Point Positioning (PPP). Due to the one receiver, the accuracy of PPP is subject to research in geoscientific studies. In this study, the effect of the height variation on Precise Point Positioning was examined globally. For this purpose, 24, 12, 6, 3, 1 hourly data of 20 IGS stations was used. The data was evaluated by web-based CSRS and academic Bernese (v.5.2) software. Bernese Positioning of Engineer (BPE) module was used in the analysis. The results show that the height variation does not affect the accuracy of point positioning.
