Abstract
Dünyada ve ülkemizde son yıllarda yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları ve bu kaynaklardan enerji üretim sistemlerine gittikçe artan oranda bir ilgi olduğu görülmektedir. Bu ilgi özellikle güneş ve rüzgar enerji kaynakları üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır. Bu durum rüzgar ve bilhassa güneş elektrik enerji üretim sistemlerinin kurulum maliyetlerinin azalmasından da kaynaklanmaktadır. Güneş enerji sistemlerinden güneş bacası sistemleri ise gerek yerli teknoloji ve malzeme ile kurulabilmesi ve gerekse sürekli enerji üretebilir olması dolayısı ile son yıllarda bilim dünyasında gittikçe artan bir ilgi odağı olmuştur. Bu çalışmada ilk olarak güneş bacası elektrik üretim sistemleri hakkında geniş kapsamlı literatür taraması yapılarak bu sistemlerin en verimli ve ekonomik kurulumları üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci olarak Konya bölgesi örnek seçilerek güneş bacası, güneş fotovoltaik (PV) ve rüzgar türbinleri ile elektrik üretim sistemlerinin ilk kurulum maliyetleri, verimlilikleri ve seviyelendirilmiş elektrik üretim maliyetleri (SEM) hesaplanmıştır. Son olarak da bulunan sonuçlar literatür değerleri ile karşılaştırılarak tartışılmış ve güneş bacası elektrik üretim sistemlerinin diğer sistemlerden günümüz şartlarında ilk yatırım maliyetlerinin yüksek ve verimlerinin düşük olmasına rağmen yakın gelecekte umut verici olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
Renewable energy sources and energy production systems using from these sources attract more and more attention every day in Turkey as well as all over the world. The focus is usually on wind and solar energy systems and this is mainly because of the reduction in cost of energy for these systems. Among the solar energy systems, solar chimney systems have been one of the popular subjects for the researchers because they can be produced with indigenous sources and they can produce energy continuously. In this study, firstly, a detailed literature review has been performed focusing on most feasible and efficient options. Secondly, levelized cost of energy (LCOE), installations costs and efficiencies of solar chimney, PV solar and wind energy systems have been calculated for Konya region. Finally, calculated results are compared with the values in the literature and the results are discussed. Although the installation costs are still high and efficiency is still low for solar chimney power generations systems compared the other systems, the results are still encouraging for the future.
