XIII. Yüzyıl İbadethanelerinin Kentsel Bellek Kapsamında İncelenmesi - Konya Örneği

Abstract

XIII. yüzyılda Konya kentinin Selçuklu Devleti’nin başkenti olduğu bilinmektedir. Selçuklu Devleti Türk İslam mimarisinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu dönemde kentteki ibadethanelerden olan mescit ve cami yapılarında gözle görülür artış sağlanmıştır. Dönemin güvenli kentlerinden olan, alim ve mutasavvıfların öğrenci yetiştirmek için tercih ettiği Konya’da, kent kullanıcılarının ihtiyaçları çerçevesinde artış gösteren bu ibadethaneler kentin kimliğini oluşturmuştur. Toplumlar değişirken, ihtiyaçların da değişmesi kaçınılmazdır. Kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarının değişimi kent mimarisini de etki etmiştir. Gerek doğal gerek beşeri etmenler sebebiyle gerçekleşen bu değişimlerden ibadethaneler de olumlu ve olumsuz olarak etkilenmiştir. Bu etkiler sonucunda yapıların günümüze ulaşırken yaşadığı değişim kent belleğine de yansımıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Konya’daki XIII. yüzyıl cami ve mescitleri bu bağlamda değerlendirilmiştir. Çoğunlukla kentin merkezini oluşturan Alâeddin Tepesi’nin çevresinde yer alan bu yapılar yakın çevresi ile birlikte kentsel bellek kapsamında incelenmiştir. Seçilen yapıların tarihi, yapılarla birlikte anılan âlim veya mutasavvıfları, yapıların fiziksel değişimleri, yakın çevrelerinde gerçekleşen kentsel düzenlemeler, yapım ve yıkım olayları ve yine yakın çevrelerinde sahip oldukları hareketli ve sabit ögelerin değişimi irdelenmiştir. Daha sonra kent kullanıcılarıyla yapıların bellekteki durumunu tespit etmek için anket yöntemi ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bu görüşmelerde kullanıcılara yapıların güncel ve tarihi görselleri gösterilip isimlerini belirtmeleri istenmiştir. Verilen cevaplara göre seçilen yapıların kent belleğindeki yeri hakkında tespitler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada XIII. yüzyılda Konya tarihi kent merkezinde yapılmış olan ve günümüzde varlığını sürdüren ibadethanelerin, kentsel bellek kavramı çerçevesinde kullanıcıların belleğindeki durumunu incelemek amaçlanmaktadır. Yapılan araştırmalar ve anket çalışması sonucunda XIII. yüzyıldan günümüze kadar ulaşmış bu ibadethanelerin kentsel bellekte yaşadığı değişimin olumlu veya olumsuz sonuçları değerlendirilerek önerilerde bulunulacaktır.

XIII. it is known that the city of Konya was the capital of the Seljuk State in the century. The Seljuk State plays an important role in Turkish Islamic architecture. During this period, a noticeable increase was achieved in the masjid and mosque structures, which are among the places of worship in the city. In Konya, which is one of the safe cities of the period and preferred by scholars and sufis to educate students, these places of worship, which have increased within the framework of the needs of city users, have formed the identity of the city. As societies change, it is inevitable that needs will also change. The change in the needs of users has also affected the urban architecture. Houses of worship have also been positively and negatively affected by these changes that have taken place due to both natural and human factors. As a result of these effects, the change that the structures experienced while reaching the present day has also been reflected in the city memory. Within the scope of the study, XIII in Konya. century mosques and masjids were evaluated in this context. These structures, which are mostly located around the Alaeddin Hill, which forms the center of the city, have been studied within the scope of urban memory together with their immediate surroundings. The history of the selected structures, the scholars or sufis mentioned along with the structures, the physical changes of the structures, the urban arrangements that take place in their immediate surroundings, the construction and demolition events and the change of the mobile and fixed elements that they have in their immediate surroundings were examined. Later, interviews were conducted with city users using the survey method to determine the state of the structures in memory. In these interviews, users were shown the current and historical visuals of the structures and asked to specify their names. According to the answers given, determinations were made about the place of the selected structures in the city memory. In this work XIII. it is aimed to examine the state of places of worship that were built in the historical city center of Konya in the century and continue to exist today in the memory of users within the framework of the concept of urban memory. As a result of the researches and survey work carried out, XIII. suggestions will be made by evaluating the positive or negative consequences of the change experienced in the urban memory of these places of worship that have reached from the century to the present.
