Offret (kurban, Tarkovsky, 1986) Filminde Mimari Mekân ve İşlevinin Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, sinema ve mimarlık arakesitinde Offret (Kurban, Tarkovsky, 1986) filmini araçsallaştırarak mimari mekân kavramı ve mekânın işlev üzerinedir. Mimarlık ve sinema etkileşiminde mimari mekân üzerine temellenen bu çalışma amaç veya araç olarak her iki alanda da 'mekânı' irdeleyen materyaller ve ürünler (film, mimari yapı vs.) üzerinden ortaya konmuştur. Mimarlıkta ve sinemada mekân olgusunu genel olarak incelemenin dışında, bu olguyu özgün sinema anlayışının bir temsilcisi olarak tanımlanabilecek yönetmen olan Tarkovsky'nin Offret filmi tartışmayı bir örnekte yoğunlaştırmak için seçilmiştir. Araştırma, Offret filminin baştan sona kadar belli aralıklarda, mekânın kullanımının ve değişiminin gözleneceği kareler alınarak, üzerinde 'insan-mekân ilişkisi' ve film boyunca hikâye doğrultusunda mekânın nasıl değişime uğradığının analiziyle sunulmuştur. Araştırmada mekânın fiziki boyutu incelenirken, temelinde olan neden ve gerektiğinde bir mekânın iki kez inşa edilmesinin yanı sıra, mekânın iki farklı şekilde tasarımı (Gerçek alan ve Set) da Tarkovsky'nin sinema ve mekân ilişkisine ne denli önem verdiğini de gözler önüne sermiştir.

This study is on architectural space and the concept of its function through analysing the film Offret (Kurban, Tarkovsky, 1986) at the intersection of cinema and architecture. This architectural space study, which is based on the interaction of architecture and cinema; examines 'space' both as a purpose or tool laid out through materials and products such as film, architectural structure, etc. Apart from examining the phenomenon of space in architecture and cinema, Andrei Tarkovsky's film Offret (Kurban, Tarkovsky, 1986), which can be defined as a representative of this phenomenon in original cinema, was chosen to concentrate the discussion on an example. The research is presented with the analysis of the 'human-space relationship' on the film Offret (Kurban, Tarkovsky, 1986) from the beginning to the end at certain intervals, on which the use and change of space will be observed, and how the space undergoes changes in line with the story throughout the film. While examining the physical dimension of the space in the research, the reason behind it and the fact that a space was built twice, when necessary, as well as the design of the space in two different ways (Real space and Set) also revealed how much importance Tarkovsky attaches to his interest in cinema and space.
