Kültürel Miras'ta Endüstrinin Dönüşümü ve Yeniden Kullanım Olanakları: Aksaray Bezirhaneleri

Abstract

Bezirhaneler, en genel tanımıyla bitki tohumlarından yağ çıkarılan tarihi endüstriyel tesislerdir. Günümüzdeki modern değirmenlerin ve fabrikaların tarih içerisindeki önemli temsilcilerindendir. Özgün kullanımlarında; keten, ızgın, belemir gibi çeşitli bitkilerin preslenmesiyle yağ elde etmeyi amaçlayan bu yapılardan elde edilen yağlar; mekanik yağlama, aydınlatma ve beslenme amaçlı olarak tarih boyunca kullanılmıştır. Endüstriyel üretimin gelişmesi ile bu yapılar kaderine terk edilmiş, zaman içerisinde de bu yapılarınbirçoğu kaybedilmiştir. Aksaray ili sınırları içerisinde Osmanlı imparatorluğunun yükseliş dönemine tekamül eden çok sayıda bezirhane yapısının olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu yapıların önemli bir bölümü Ihlara, Güzelyurt ve Belisırma kasabalarında yer almaktadır. Bu yapıların bölgedeki kalkınmaya önemli etkilerinin olduğu, üretimi de önemli ölçüde destekledikleri tarihi belgelerden rahatlıkla anlaşılmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamı: Aksaray ili sınırları içerisindeki yerleşimlerde, günümüze kadar ulaşmış tarihi bezirhanelerin mekânsal özelliklerini araştırarak, belgeleme çalışması gerçekleştirmek ve bu yapılar ile ilgili olarak tarihsel bir araştırma yapmaktır.Bezirhanes, in the most general definition, are historical industrial facilities where oil is extracted from plant seeds. With the development of industrial production, these structures were abandoned to their fate, and many of these structures were lost over time. It is known that there are manybezirhanebuildings within the borders of Aksaray province, which evolved into the rise of the Ottoman Empire. An important part of these buildings islocated in the towns of Ihlara, Güzelyurt and Belisırma. It is easily understood from the historical documents that these buildings have important effects on the development of the region and support production to a great extent. In the scope of study: To carry out a documentation study by investigating the spatial characteristics of the historical bezirhanesthat have survived to the present day in the settlements within the borders of Aksaray province and to conduct historical research on these buildings.
