Kentsel Hafıza Mekanlarının Psikanaliz Yöntemle Analizi

Abstract

Hatırlama ve unutma süreci olan hafıza hem bireysel hem kolektif olarak yapısı gereği uzamsaldır. Çağlar boyunca hafıza anlayışları değişse de hepsi mekânsal olarak karşılık bulmuştur. Kent mekanı kolektif hafızanın lokusudur. Kolektif anıların oluşmasını ve hatırlanmasını sağlamaktadır. Doğan, gelişen, değişen ve ölen bir varlık olan kent yaşam döngüsü boyunca biriktirdiği tüm hafıza bileşenleriyle katmanlı bir yapıya sahip olmuştur. Bu yönüyle insana benzemektedir. İnsan gibi bazı aşamalardan geçerek bütünlüğe ulaşmaktadır. İnsanın bazı travmatik anılar yaşaması ve bunu sonucunda onları bastırarak unutması gibi kent de bazı travmatik yıkımlar ile kentsel mekanın bazı elementlerini yitirerek unutmaktadır. İnsanın bastırdığı anıları sebebiyle psikolojik sorunlar yaşaması gibi kentte de yıkımlar kentsel problemler aratmaktadır. Ancak hafızada unutuş tam olarak mümkün değildir. Psikanaliz ile insan unuttuğu anıları tekrar hatırlayarak psikolojik sorunlarından kurtulabilmektedir. Psikanalist bunu insanın bilinç katmanları arasında derinlemesine bir kazı çalışması yaparak sağlamaktadır. Kentin katmanları arasında yapılan yapay kazı çalışması da kentin travmalarını ortaya çıkarak onlarla yüzleşmesini sağlamakta, sorunlarını çözmesine yardım etmektedir. Bu çalışmada Konya kenti üzerinden kentin kaybolan hafıza parçalarının bireysel anılarda yaşayan kalıntılarının belgelenmesi çalışması yapılmıştır. İnsanın psikososyal gelişim dönemlerinde elde ettiği birbirleriyle etkileşim halinde bulunan kazanımlarına benzer şekilde kentin hafıza profili çıkarılmış ve sonraki kentsel hafıza çalışmaları için formüle edilmiştir.

Although the understanding of memory has changed over the ages, all of them have found a spatial response. Urban space is the locus of collective memory. It enables the formation and recall of collective memories. The city, which is a developing, changing and dying entity, has a layered structure with all the memory components it has accumulated throughout its life cycle. In this respect, he resembles a human. As human beings, it passes through some stages and reaches integrity. Just as people experience some traumatic memories and consequently forget them by suppressing them, the city also forgets by losing some elements of the urban space with some traumatic destructions. Just as people experience psychological problems due to their repressed memories, demolitions also create urban problems in the city. However, forgetting in memory is not entirely possible. With psychoanalysis, people can get rid of their psychological problems by remembering the forgotten memories again. The psychoanalyst achieves this by making an in-depth excavation between the layers of consciousness of the human being. The artificial excavation work carried out between the layers of the city also helps the city to confront its traumas by revealing them and helping them to solve its problems. This study, was carried out to document the remnants of the lost memory fragments of the city, living in individual memories, over the city of Konya. The memory profile of the city was drawn and formulated for subsequent urban memory studies, similar to the interactive acquisitions of human beings during their Stages of Psychosocial Development.
