Abstract

Genus Agathammina Neumayr, 1887 emend. Wolanska 1959, emended herein Type species Agathammina pusilla (Geinitz, 1848) (type by subsequent designation). Description (emended) Test ovate, globular proloculus followed by enrolled undivided tubular second chamber of few gradually enlarging whorls, initially quinqueloculinoid then planispiral involute sometimes with evolute last whorls without septation; wall calcareous, porcelaneous with perforations similar to comb teeth-shaped structure. Aperture terminal, simple.
