Biography
Hasan Akyıldız is an Associate Professor of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Konya Technical University. Prior to joining Konya Technical University, Hasan received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Anadolu University in Ceramic Science and from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, respectively. He spent 12 months at North Carolina State University with Jon-Paul Maria`s group as a scholarship on solution and vacum-based processing of thin films. Hasan Akyıldız group members currently pursue research in the areas of transparent conductive oxide thin films, photodetectors, photocatalysts and radar absorbing nanostructured composites.
