Biography

Dr. Rahmi Aksoy received his BSc degree from the Department of Geological Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey and MSc degree in the Department of Earth Sciences from the University of California, Riverside in the USA in 1986. He started to work in the Department of Geological Engineering at Selçuk University as a Research Assistant where he obtained his PhD degree in Geological Engineering in 1993. He became Associate Professor in the Department of Geological Engineering at Konya Technical University in 2019. His research focuses on structural geology, neotectonics and seismicity.
