    07. 16. Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies
    In our department, the education is provided in three different programs: Machine, Machine Drawing and Construction and Agricultural Machinery Program. These programs educate machine technicians who can create computer aided design with the knowledge and skills of vocational courses such as design and manufacturing methods, technical drawing, material knowledge, hydraulic and pneumatic, engineering, agricultural machinery etc., and who can manufacture and assemble machine parts with conventional and modern machine tools, machining and chipless manufacturing methods. The program is a 2-year associate degree program. It consists of 4 terms. A total of 15 weeks of courses are offered each term. In addition, there are 2 internship periods each lasting 30 days.

    07. 06. Department of Computer Technologies
    Computer Programming Program is a program that covers areas related to computer use, software development (PC, network environment and internet, etc.), database, web, graphic applications, hardware, maintenance, repair and installation and management of computer networks. Students in the Computer Programming program are trained as individuals who have sufficient knowledge in every field of computer science, equipped with the ability to apply their knowledge at a high level, and who can continuously improve themselves in line with technological developments. In our department, Normal Education and II. Education is given in two different ways. The Computer Programming Program, which is a two-year program, consists of 4 semesters. In the program, which gives approximately 30 ECTS credits each semester, students earn 120 ECTS Credits when they complete the courses.

    07. 12. Department of Electronics and Automation
    The Department of Electronics and Automation aims to train electronic technicians that can adapt to the technological developments in electronics, who have gained scientific and technical knowledge, who have the ability to solve problems related to their field, and who can plan and execute the stages of design, development, maintenance, repair, production and implementation. It is an associate degree program that aims to aims to furnish the graduates with professional and academic qualifications. In order to graduate from this associate degree program, students must be successful in all courses in the program curriculum and must have at least 120 ECTS credits, and must complete 2 compulsory workplace internships (Industry Based Education-IBE) consisting of 30 working days. Students are trained for 2 years (4 terms) in this program. Assessment and Evaluation process is based on Konya Technical University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Exam Regulations. In-class activities are carried out by the academic staff by transferring them to the students at the beginning of the semester. Graduates of the program can work as electronic technicians at such public and private sectors in the field of electronic communication as television and radio channels, telephone operator companies, companies serving in the field of data communication, electronic companies manufacturing communication devices, and many other institutions and organizations’ design development, maintenance, repair, production and application stages. Students can take the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) held by OSYM every year and continue their undergraduate education by transferring to the faculties related to their field indicated in DGS catalogue.

Furniture and Decoration Program prefers graduates in the field of Furniture and Decoration, who have sufficient theoretical and applied knowledge in their field, who have high business skills, who are qualified, who are experts in their fields and who aim to train technical staff who can see the future, who offer education at an international level with its highly qualified teaching staff. To be a department that graduates skilled and respected technicians who have adopted lifelong learning in research and professional fields. Material and production in the field of Furniture and Decoration, which is required by the national and international industry through quality education at international standards, adheres to the ethical values required by the profession, has knowledge, can use technology effectively and can renew itself, have the ability to reach and produce information, protect the basic qualities of the republic.     The purpose of this program is to train qualified intermediate staff needed by the printing-publishing, printing and packaging industry. Students will be able to work as qualified personnel needed by the printing and publishing industry by taking theoretical and applied courses to meet the market needs. With the internship application, they will meet the sector before graduation, and as of the 3rd and 4th semesters, they will make their beginnings in the profession by concentrating on the areas they want to work in their professional business life. Lessons; It has technical, theoretical and applied content. It is aimed to respond to the needs of the sector by creating a curriculum with sample courses such as Basic Graphic Design, Printing Cost Calculations, Computer Aided Graphic Design, Offset Printing, Printing Management, Printing Techniques, Binding Techniques. They can continue their undergraduate education by entering the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) held every year by OSYM and, if successful, by transferring to the faculties related to their fields specified in the DGS catalogue.

Students who have graduated from the Nuclear Technology and Radiation Safety Program will have the opportunity to find jobs in the future of nuclear power plants, radioisotope production centers, public and private hospitals, national testing laboratories, dosimetry laboratories, medical, decontamination and discharging facilities and university research facilities working with radioactive substances.
