    In our department, the education is provided in three different programs: Machine, Machine Drawing and Construction and Agricultural Machinery Program. These programs educate machine technicians who can create computer aided design with the knowledge and skills of vocational courses such as design and manufacturing methods, technical drawing, material knowledge, hydraulic and pneumatic, engineering, agricultural machinery etc., and who can manufacture and assemble machine parts with conventional and modern machine tools, machining and chipless manufacturing methods. The program is a 2-year associate degree program. It consists of 4 terms. A total of 15 weeks of courses are offered each term. In addition, there are 2 internship periods each lasting 30 days.

    07. 06. Department of Computer Technologies
    Computer Programming Program is a program that covers areas related to computer use, software development (PC, network environment and internet, etc.), database, web, graphic applications, hardware, maintenance, repair and installation and management of computer networks. Students in the Computer Programming program are trained as individuals who have sufficient knowledge in every field of computer science, equipped with the ability to apply their knowledge at a high level, and who can continuously improve themselves in line with technological developments. In our department, Normal Education and II. Education is given in two different ways. The Computer Programming Program, which is a two-year program, consists of 4 semesters. In the program, which gives approximately 30 ECTS credits each semester, students earn 120 ECTS Credits when they complete the courses.

    The Department of Electronics and Automation aims to train electronic technicians that can adapt to the technological developments in electronics, who have gained scientific and technical knowledge, who have the ability to solve problems related to their field, and who can plan and execute the stages of design, development, maintenance, repair, production and implementation. It is an associate degree program that aims to aims to furnish the graduates with professional and academic qualifications. In order to graduate from this associate degree program, students must be successful in all courses in the program curriculum and must have at least 120 ECTS credits, and must complete 2 compulsory workplace internships (Industry Based Education-IBE) consisting of 30 working days. Students are trained for 2 years (4 terms) in this program. Assessment and Evaluation process is based on Konya Technical University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Exam Regulations. In-class activities are carried out by the academic staff by transferring them to the students at the beginning of the semester. Graduates of the program can work as electronic technicians at such public and private sectors in the field of electronic communication as television and radio channels, telephone operator companies, companies serving in the field of data communication, electronic companies manufacturing communication devices, and many other institutions and organizations’ design development, maintenance, repair, production and application stages. Students can take the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) held by OSYM every year and continue their undergraduate education by transferring to the faculties related to their field indicated in DGS catalogue.

With the internship application, they will meet the sector before graduation, and as of the 3rd and 4th semesters, they will make their beginnings in the profession by concentrating on the areas they want to work in their professional business life. It is aimed to respond to the needs of the sector by creating a curriculum with sample courses such as Basic Graphic Design, Printing Cost Calculations, Computer Aided Graphic Design, Offset Printing, Printing Management, Printing Techniques, Binding Techniques.
