Yüksek Yapılar ile Sosyoekonomik Gelişmeler Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Toplumsal gelişimin temelinde, insanoğlunun kültürel ve teknolojik birikimi yatar. Endüstri Devrimi, her iki açıdan da, günümüz toplumlarını şekillendiren en önemli tarihsel olaylardan birisi olmuştur. Endüstri Devrimi ile çeliğin strüktürel malzeme olarak yapı sektörüne girişi yüksek yapı inşasının önündeki fiziksel engelleri ortadan kaldırmış, yoğun kentleşmenin getirdiği sorunlara ve ihtiyaç duyulmaya başlanan yeni fonksiyonlara yönelik çözümler bu sayede gerçekleştirilmiştir. Zamanla ülkeler bu çok katlı yüksek yapılara farklı anlamlar yükleyerek, gelişmişliklerini vurgulamak için bu yapıları kullanmışlardır. Günümüzde yoğun olarak devam edilen yüksek yapı kullanımında, yüksek yapı inşasına başlanan ilk ülke olan Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin yanında, Uzakdoğu ülkeleri ile Körfez ülkeleri ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışma, ABD, Çin ve Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri’nin yüksek yapı inşasında süreç boyunca gelişimlerini inceleyerek, bu inşa faaliyetlerinin ülkelerin ekonomileri ve toplumsal gelişmişlik düzeyleri ile ilişkisini yorumlamayı amaçlamaktadır.

On the basis of social development, cultural and technological accumulation of knowledge lies. The Industrial Revolution, on both sides, has been one of the most important historical events that shaped today’s societies. With the Industrial Revolution, use of steel as structural material removed the physical barriers to the construction of high-rise buildings, and the problems caused by intensive urbanization and solutions to newly needed functions have been answered this way. Over time, countries have used these structures to emphasize their developments by giving different meanings to these high-rise buildings. In the use of high-rise structures which is still intensive today, in addition to the United States as the first country that started construction of the high-rise buildings, the Far Eastern countries and Gulf countries are at the forefront. This study aims to examine the development of the USA, China and the United Arab Emirates during the process in the construction of high structures, and to interpret the relation of these construction activities with the economies and social development levels of the countries.
