Temel Tasarım Dersi Kapsamında Yön İlkesinin Sinema Filmleri Aracılığıyla Anlatılması

Abstract

Mimarlık birçok disiplinle bağlantılıdır. Resim, müzik, heykel gibi bütün sanat dallarıyla yakından ilintilidir. Sinema ve mimarlık da birbiri ile güçlü bağları olan iki disiplindir. Birçok mimar tasarımlarında sinema filmlerinden ilham aldıklarını söylemektedirler. Mimarlık okullarında da sinemaya olan ilgi artarak devam etmektedir. Derslerde yürütücüler yeni yöntemler deneyimleyerek, sinema filmlerini çeşitli mimarlık derslerine dahil etmektedirler. Temel tasarım dersinde yeni bir yöntem önerisi olarak sinema filmleri kullanılmıştır. Temel tasarım ilke ve ögeleri sinema filmleri kullanılarak öğrencilere aktarılmıştır. Uygulamalar yapılırken film karelerinin soyutlanması istenmiştir. Yön ilkesi anlatılırken “Stardust” filminden faydalanılmıştır. Film konusu gereği, yön ilkesinin görülebileceği pek çok sahneye sahiptir. Stardust filmi öğrenciler ile birlikte izlenmiştir. Seyir sırasında yön ilkesinin görülebileceği sahneler durdurulmuş, öğrencilerin farkına varması sağlanmış ve üzerinde konuşulmuştur. Sinema filmlerinin derse dâhil edilmesi, öğrenciler için dersi daha eğlenceli dolayısıyla daha öğretici kılmıştır. Yön ilkesinin de sinema aracılığı ile aktarılmasında öğrencilerin konuyu kolayca ve tam olarak anladıkları görülmüştür. Verilen uygulamalarda başarılı oldukları saptanmıştır.

Architecture is connected with many disciplines. It is closely related to all branches of art such as painting, music and sculpture. Cinema and architecture are two disciplines that have strong ties to each other. Many architects say that they are inspired by movies in their designs. The interest in cinema continues to increase in architecture schools. In the lessons, the directors experience new methods and include movies in various architecture lessons. Cinema films were used as a new method proposal in the basic design course. The basic design principles and elements were transferred to the students by using movies. While making the applications, it was requested to abstract the film frames. While explaining the principle of direction, the movie “Stardust” was used. Due to the subject of the film, it has many scenes where the principle of direction can be seen. Stardust movie was watched with the students. Scenes where the principle of direction can be seen during the cruise were stopped, the students were made aware and discussed. The inclusion of movies in the lesson made the lesson more fun and therefore more instructive for students. It was seen that the students understood the subject easily and completely when the principle of direction was conveyed through cinema. It has been found that they are successful in the given applications.
