Abstract: Houses are the places where human beings feel most belonging and spend most of their lives. Housing structures, shaped by the cultural, social and artistic perspectives of individuals, are important resources that transfer the worldviews of the societies in the period they were built to the future societies. Housing structures are transforming with the changing economic, political, cultural, technological and artistic factors over time. Following the effects of these transformations over time will be a reference for new housing typologies to be produced in the future. In this context, 4 traditional residences, 4 apartments and 4 gated community structures in the city center of Konya were examined within the scope of the study. In order to show the findings obtained as a result of the examinations in a concrete way, an examples of each house typology with details has been explained in this paper. It is thought that the findings obtained from this study can contribute significantly to the spiritual and functional needs of the users in the housing structures to be produced in the future.
