Abstract
In recent years, the demands of safe, fast and comfortable transportation have increased due to developing technology, changing needs, economic growth, population growth and climate changes in the World and in our country and the importance and development of railways has come to the forefront in transportation. Within the scope of the thesis, the importance of substructure construction in the railways is mentioned and the soil characteristics that the route passes during the construction of the substructure and the soil improvement methods to be applied in the sections where the criteria cannot be met are mentioned. In addition, within the scope of the thesis, the geological and geotechnical information of the land has been dealt with as a whole with the literature study conducted before the research within the scope of rehabilitation of the existing line of the Adana-İncirlik-Toprakkale and construction of the 2nd line. In this Project, the results of the experiments on the ground were evaluated and as a result of these evaluations, ground improvements made by applying Novocrete® and deep mixing method were mentioned and calculations were made.
