Ilgın (konya) Yerleşim Alanı Zeminlerinin Jeoteknik Özelliklerinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Konya'nın kuzey batısında, 1. Derece deprem bölgesinde bulunan Ilgın ilçesi yerleşim alanında, temel birimler üzerinde yer alan kohezyonlu ve kohezyonsuz özellikteki zeminler ile bunların yeraltı suyuyla doygunlaşması önemli zemin problemlerine neden olmaktadır. Bu problemler zeminin sıkı-gevşek olmasına, yeraltı suyunun yüzeye yakın olmasına, yeraltı suyunun kimyasal özelliğine, zemin tane boyu dağılımına, zeminin kil içeriğine, zeminin üst yüzeyinde geçirimsiz bir örtü tabakasının bulunup-bulunmamasına ve boşluk suyu basıncının değerine bağlı olarak değişmektedir. Kohezyonsuz zeminler yeraltı suyu ve deprem etkisiyle taşıma gücü kaybı, akma, kayma, aşırı oturma, sıvılaşma ve benzeri birçok zemin problemlerine yol açtığı bilinmektedir. Bu öngörüler çerçevesinde inceleme alanındaki zeminlerin özellikleri, zemin mekaniği ve mühendisliği prensiplerine uygun olarak, Standart Penetrasyon Deneyi (SPT) gibi arazi yöntemlerini kullanan gerilme yaklaşımı ve ilgili laboratuvar deneyleri ile araştırılmıştır. Laboratuvar deneyleri sonucunda yapılan taşıma gücü hesaplamalarında emniyetli taşıma gücünün 0.74 kg/cm2 ile 1.59 kg/cm2 aralığında, oturma miktarının 8.31 cm ile 17.41 cm aralığında ve sıvılaşma enerjisi potansiyelinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu veriler ışığında inceleme alanının taşıma gücü, oturma ve sıvılaşma problemlerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu nedenle elde edilen değerlere bağlı olarak yapıların planlanması gerekmektedir. Ayrıca olası deprem hasarlarını en aza indirgeyecek şekilde mevcut yapılarda statik durumlarında iyileştirmelerin yapılması gerekmektedir.

In the settlement area of Ilgın district, located in the 1st degree earthquake zone in the northwest of Konya, cohesion and non-cohesion soils on the basic units and their saturation with ground water cause important soil problems. These problems vary depending on the soil being tight-loose, the groundwater being close to the surface, the chemical property of the groundwater, the soil grain size distribution, the clay content of the ground, the presence of an impermeable cover layer on the upper surface and the value of the pore water pressure. It is known that cohesion free soils cause many ground problems such as loss of bearing capacity, flow, slip, excessive settling, liquefaction and similar effects due to groundwater and earthquake effects. Within the framework of these predictions, the properties of soils in the study area were investigated in accordance with the principles of soil mechanics and engineering, with the stress approach using field methods such as Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and related laboratory tests. As a result of laboratory tests, it was determined that the carrying capacity was between 0.74 kg / cm2 and 1.59 kg / cm2, the sitting amount was between 8.31 cm and 17.41 cm and the liquefaction energy potential was high. In the light of these data, it was found that carrying area, settlement and liquefaction problems of the study area. Therefore, it is necessary to plan the structures depending on the obtained values. In addition, improvements to the static conditions of existing structures should be made to minimize possible earthquake damage.
