Article Analysis of Publications on Earthquake Research in Architecture Category and Analysis With R Studio-Biblioshiny Software(2023) Karataş, Lale; Dal, Murat; Barkut, Emine BanuThe purpose of this research is to examine the publications focusing on earthquakes in the category of architecture (web of science). The data of the research was analyzed with the Biblioshiny software program. This software program makes a bibliometric analysis on which topics and concepts earthquake research focuses. In addition, images and frequencies of publications related to architecture and earthquakes were revealed. The data of the research was collected between 1-15 July 2023. Results for Architecture (WoS Categories) AND earthquake* (Topic) OR earthquake AND architecture (Topic) OR earthquake AND house (Topic) OR earthquake AND structure (Topic) OR earthquake AND damage (Topic) OR earthquake AND city (Topic) OR earthquake AND urban (Topic) and Türkiye (Countries/Regions). Data were collected with keywords in the Web of Science database. According to the research findings, there are 1033 publications and in the country/region category (Türkiye), 83 publications are accessed. The most used words in the publications are earthquake, urban transformation, Istanbul, seismic, retrofit, assessment, structural, urban, damage, buildings and performance.Article Literature Review and Analysis of Publications on Sustainability & Sustainable Design in the Field of Interior Architecture & Interior Design(2023) Barkut, Emine BanuThe purpose of this article is to examine the publications on sustainability and sustainable design in the fields of interior architecture & interior design. Scientific mapping method was chosen as the method in the research. The reason for this is the creation of detailed statistics, graphics and visuals of the researched subject. Searched words in Web of Science and Scopus databases; ( TITLE-ABS-KEY ( sustainability AND "interior architecture" ) OR TITLE-ABS-KEY ( sustainability AND "interior design" ) OR TITLE-ABS-KEY ( "sustainable design" AND "interior design" ) OR TITLE-ABS- KEY ( "sustainable design" AND "interior architecture" ). The data of the research were collected from Web of Science and SCOPUS database. In the analysis of the data, 1) Percentage, frequency and visuals presented by the databases 2) Analysis results are explained in the Biblioshiny and VOSviewer (science mapping analysis) software program. As a result, sustainability and sustainable design, which has been an important issue in the fields of architecture and design in recent years, have been given a different perspective, the existing literature has been analyzed, and the existing publications have been highlighted and deficiencies have been identified.Article Systematic Literature Review and Scientific Maps on Ecological Architecture and Eco-Architecture(2023) Barkut, Emine Banu; Dal, MuratThe purpose of this article is to examine systematic literature reviews and scientific maps on the subjects of Ecological architecture, eco-architecture, and ecological architectural design. The method of this research is bibliometric analysis, one of the quantitative research methods. The data of the research are publications in the Scopus database between 2000 and 2023. For the analysis, graphics from the Scopus database and the Biblioshiny software program were used. Research findings offer a comprehensive overview of theories, concepts, trends, and publications in the field of ecological architecture, eco-architecture, and ecological architectural design. Additionally, the concepts that stand out in the publications are ecology, sustainable architecture architectural design, environment, green building, design, energy efficiency, architecture design, green architecture, experimental simulation, sustainable design, landscape, nature, sustainable design, thermal design, architectural education, climate change, construction, ecological architecture design. The significance of this research lies in its provision of a conceptual foundation for future studies in the intersection of ecology and architecture. For future research, it is recommended to conduct studies using various databases such as Web of Science, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global, etc., at different intervals over the years.
