Optimum design is obtained from a parametric sweep in ANSYS HFSS then the prototype of the antenna is produced and measured. For radiated surfaces, self-adhesive copper tape is used. Thanks to its flexible and light structure, this antenna can be used for wearable applications on arms or ankles conformally. In addition, with the comparison of simulation and experimental results, the dielectric constant of chosen Velvet substrate is updated from the initial value of 2.00 to 2.05 and the loss tangent from 0.050 to 0.065.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessConformalDielectric ParametersHFSSMicrostrip AntennaSeljuk StarVelvetWearableAdhesivesSilkStarsWearable AntennasLight structuresOptimum DesignsSelf-AdhesiveWearable ApplicationsSeljuk Star Microstrip Antenna on Velvet SubstrateConference Object10.1109/CAMA56352.2022.100024582-s2.0-85148292292
