The stratigraphy of the study area was studied by Turan (1990), but the microfacies features of the Hacıalabaz limestone were not determined in detail. In the study area, only Hacıalabaz dolostones were studied in detail by Özkan and Dinç (2008). Three measured stratigraphic sections were taken from the study area in accordance with the purpose of the study. Samples were collected from the appropriate levels of these measured sections for microfacies identification. Clean, fresh, and undecomposed samples of the collected samples were preferred. Thin sections were made from the collected samples, and examined under a polarizing microscope, their textural properties were determined, their names were made, and their photographs were taken. The Hacıalabaz limestones are named mudstone, wackestone, packstone, and crystalline limestone according to their microfacies properties. The Hacıalabaz limestones developed in a shelf environment suitable for carbonate precipitation.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessHacıalabazHadimLimestoneMicrofaciesMicrofacies Characteristics of the Hacıalabaz Limestone North of Hadim (konya, Türkiye)Conference Object
