FR4 dielectric material and copper conductive substrates are preferred in the design of the antenna with dimensions of 15 × 30 mm and thickness of 1.6 mm. In addition to that, two PIN diodes are utilized to make the microstrip antenna reconfigurable and enable it to operate in six different frequency regions (3.62-4.02 GHz, 3.78-4.96 GHz, 3.79-4.22 GHz, 4.46-8.24 GHz, 4.79-7.89 GHz, 4.92-8.09 GHz) depending on four different switching states. Due to the small and economical structure of the proposed antenna, it can be used in many different fields and applications in the C-band operating range. © 2023 IEEE.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessC-bandmicrostrip patch antennaPIN diodesreconfigurable antennaReconfigurable Frequency-Selective Microstrip Patch Antenna Design for C-Band CommunicationsConference Object10.1109/GCITC60406.2023.104258582-s2.0-85191714769
