With the additives added to the oils, the tribological performance of the oil can be increased. In recent years, the use of nano-particles as additives has become quite common. Nano-particles, which are especially effective in increasing the heat transfer coefficient, can reduce the friction coefficient by increasing the oil film strength, wettability and penetration of liquids. However, nano-particles must have specific characteristic properties to be used as oil additives and to be stable. In order to determine these properties, it is necessary to determine the characteristic properties of the synthesized nano-particles. In this paper, information will be given about these characterization stages.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessNano-particleCharacterizationColloidal SuspensionZeta PotentialUV AbsorbanceCharacterization Methods of Nano-Particles Added To Industrial LubricantsConference Object
