Abstract: | The effect of sodium concentration ratio (Na) on the compressive and flexural strength of fly ash mortars activated with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) was studied. Compressive strengths and flexural strengths of geopolymer mortars obtained by using F class fly ash and Ground-granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) mixtures at different rates of NaOH were determined at constant water content. 40 40 160 mm prismatic samples prepared from alkali-activated fly ash to obtain geopolymer mortar samples for the study. At the end of the 28-day curing period, the C3 mixture at molarity= 12 (12M) reached a compressive strength of 28.22 MPa, while the C1 (10M) mixture reached a compressive strength of 23.8 MPa. Concrete samples with a concentration of 12 M NaOH produced the highest compressive strength. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.13091/6347 |
