Description
Department of Architecture is one of the oldest departments of Konya Technical University. The Department of Architecture, which has been continuing its education since 1971, is one of the most well-established and experienced institutions in our country. The architectural education process, which started with the academy, continues with its constantly renewed and developing structure as Konya Technical University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Architecture, together with all its academic staff, education system and traditions. Educational activities are carried out with a total of 33 teaching staff, including 4 Professor, 7 Associate Professors, 3 Doctor, 3 Research Assistant Doctors and 16 Research Assistants. As the Department of Architecture, our main goal in architectural education is to train individuals who have the ability to think analytically, think in three dimensions, realize practical practices with artistic sensitivity, and adopt architectural culture and professional ethical values. With this understanding, high-level research-development and architectural application projects are produced for public institutions and organizations within the scope of university-industry, university-ministry, university-local government cooperation.
