Our department was established in 1973 and has approximately 43 years of experience in teaching mechanical engineering. Konya Technical University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the strongest mechanical engineering departments of our country in terms of teaching staff and teaching quality. Our department has approximately 1300 undergraduate program students, 74 doctoral students, and 361 graduate students. Our department, which consists of the departments of Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, Mechanics, Machine Theory and Dynamics, and Thermodynamics, has a strong teaching staff. Our department, which has the strongest academic staff of our faculty, has 8 professors, 6 associated professors, 10 assistant professors, 2 doctoral research assistant, and 13 research assistants. The activities of our department are carried out on the axes of teaching, research, and cooperation with public and industrial organizations.
